Karen Bintz

Karen Bintz is Vice President of Professional Development & Coaching at Extraordinary Communications, where she partners with senior leaders to strengthen how their teams communicate, present, and influence in high-stakes business environments.

Karen is often the first point of contact for organizations exploring presentation and communication development and serves as a lead facilitator and coach for Extraordinary Communications’ programs. She brings the firm’s frameworks and content to life in both virtual and in-person classrooms, ensuring the work is practical, relevant, and grounded in real business challenges.

Karen has been a communications trainer and coach since 2011, supporting professionals across 30+ countries. Prior to joining Extraordinary Communications in 2023, she spent more than 18 years building and leading the executive briefing program at BMC Software, where her team earned more world-class recognition from the Association of Briefing Program Managers (ABPM) than any of its 100+ member companies. She also served on the ABPM advisory board, helping advance customer briefing programs globally.

She began her career at IBM and brings a strong commercial, customer-centric perspective to her coaching, particularly with leaders and teams who communicate with customers, partners, and executives.
